Museum Tour

The museum consists of the main building and the annex.

In the main building there are about 140 vehicles on display, each one of which represents a particular time in the evolution and progress of the global automotive industry. Of the three floors, the first floor houses a replica of the Toyoda Model AA (the first passenger car manufactured by Toyota), the second floor features several cars from different years (including a replica of the first ever gasoline-powered car, the 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen), and the third floor contains Japan-made automobiles from the last 60 years.

In the annex there is an exhibition zone that shows the development of the automobile and lifestyles in Japan. It includes 20 cars and around 2,000 artifacts that portray the life and culture of the Japanese through the years.
